The Zombie Fun Run & Fest needs YOU to join our horde.

The Fun Run will begin at the football field at Red Bank High School. The story starts like a normal 5K… until suddenly the football players and cheerleaders have turned and start chasing the runners.

From there, racers will head up toward Godsey Ridge by the community center, weaving through the woods and dodging zombies along the trail.

Come Early & Be Part of the Fest
The festival kicks off at 2:00 PM, with food trucks, vendors and music. We’d love to have zombies roaming the festival before the race. It’s a great way to get into character, entertain attendees, and take some creepy photo ops before the run begins!

Makeup & Costume

We’ll have a makeup artist on site from 4PM until the race kicks off at 6PM, so if you want to get zombie-fied before the chaos begins, come on by. You’re also more than welcome to show up already in full zombie form.

Feel free to lean into the high school theme: zombie cheerleader, football player, coach, mascot, whatever, or go totally off the rails and be any kind of undead creature you want. The weirder, the better.

What to Expect

Arrival: Zombies arrive by 5PM for check-in, makeup touch-ups, and placement along the course.

During the Race: Stay in your designated “scare zone” and interact with runners by chasing, lunging, creeping, or simply staring them down (safely, of course).

Safety First: No actual grabbing or tackling runners. We’re here for fun scares, not ER visits.

After the Race: Stick around to enjoy the G(rave) for free as a thank you for volunteering your time and energy. We’ll be watching local films and dancing the night away.
