What to expect: Your tour will consist of visiting two wild caves wild caves within 30 minutes’ drive of Downtown Chattanooga. First we will visit Cedar Ridge Crystal, a cave only discovered when Highway 24 was built. This cave is kid friendly and perfect for anyone who has never been in a wild cave before. Your tour can last up to 3 hours , but if at any time you wish to exit the cave, the exit is less than 15 minutes from anywhere inside the cave. There will be a small amount of crawling, with lots of stooping, scrambling, and climbing over rocks. This cave has beautiful formations throughout and is one of the most photographed caves in the state.

Next we will visit privately owned cave and a local source for water for centuries. This cave is full of history. A 750’ walk inside this cave leads you to a 55’ underground waterfall! Your tour can last up to 2 hours, but if at any time you wish to exit the cave, the exit is less than 10 minutes from anywhere inside the cave. There will be a small amount of stooping, and you will be walking in water the whole time. The water can get up to above an adult’s knees and cold 58 degrees. This cave has beautiful formations throughout and is one of the most photographed caves in the state.
