Trail Work Party at Raccoon for National Trails Day

Join SORBA Chattanooga and Tennessee Valley Authority on National Public Lands Day for a trail work party at Raccoon Mountain.
We’ll be working on bridge repairs, rock armoring and clearing drains to get the mountain ready for the NICA Championship Race on October 25.
No prior experience is necessary!
All tools will be provided on-site, along with instruction and guidance from experienced trail stewards. Lunch will be provided afterwards to all volunteers.
What to Bring & Wear:
Work gloves (we’ll have extras if you don’t have any)

Reusable water bottle & snacks

Closed-toe shoes (required)

Long pants and sleeves recommended for protection from brush and bugs

ATTENTION: Laurel Point on Raccoon Mountain is in Central Time Zone. All times listed for this event are in Eastern Time Zone. 9 am ET is 8 AM CT. Don’t let your GPS fool you.
