National Take a Hike Day: Guided Hike at Walden’s Ridge

Join Outdoor Chattanooga for National Take a Hike Day to walk the hiking trails of Walden’s Ridge Park near Red Bank, TN. This park encompasses 200-acres of outdoor fun including mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and bouldering. A trail system on the east face of Signal Mountain boasts a very beautiful and diverse canopy, almost 800 feet in elevation gain, and the distinct woodland qualities as part of the Cumberland Plateau. No experience is necessary and our trip leaders will take you on a beginner and family friendly loop hike rated moderate that is approximately 3.5 miles. The hike will take about 2 hours and has about 300 feet in overall elevation gain. The trail is well maintained, and is mostly dirt with some rocks and roots.
