Classes begin in a controlled field environment where instructors can focus on the fundamentals of mountain biking in a comfortable setting. Through a series of progressive drills and activities, riders practice balance, braking, maneuvering, body position, and bike control. These classes are offered regularly, so the rider can practice and advance at their own pace.

This foundational skill building practice gives you an opportunity to become comfortable on your bike before moving onto more challenging terrain. Instructors provide individual guidance and help riders progress at a pace that matches their current skill level.

TUESDAYS September 15 through November 3, 2026 at Greenway Farm.

Registration is required and participation is limited. Field FUNdamental classes are $10. Equipment can be provided (or bring your own) and indication of which is required at registration.
