Silver Adventures: Winter Waterfall Hike – Blowing Wind Falls

For adults aged 50 and above, we present Silver Adventures—an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in nature under the guidance of our expert outdoor team. With a focus on personalized experiences, our group ratios are kept low to ensure personalized attention, and we provide all necessary recreational equipment. (hiking poles in this instance!) This Silver Adventure is a hike that is considered moderately strenuous with roots and rocky trails. The planned hike is approximately 2.8 miles round trip, and it will take about 2.5 hours to complete. The first section is relatively gradual and winds parallel to the river, while the final third features a steep climb, stone staircases, and rocky terrain. The destination is Blowing Wind Falls, a beautiful 30-foot waterfall, where we’ll pause for a lunch break and take time to reflect.
