4:30 – 6:00 pm: Based on data obtained from the Williams Spring Site in Huntsville, Alabama, Orion Kroulek will discuss three analytical methods for discerning atlatl dart points versus arrowheads and present a statistically-based comparative analysis of results as applied to Williams Spring. We will discuss the implications of these findings for our understanding of the transition from lithic technology to another within the broader Southeastern US region.
