Tennessee River Rescue
Saturday, October 3 | 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Grab a paddle and help take care of one of the waterways that makes our region so special!
Join Outdoor Chattanooga and Waterways for the 38th annual Tennessee River Rescue as we paddle Wolftever Creek and clean up Rabbit Island. Volunteers will work together to remove litter and debris from the waterway, helping protect the Tennessee River watershed and the wildlife and communities that depend on it.
Tennessee River Rescue brings volunteers together each year at cleanup sites throughout the region to care for the Tennessee River and its tributaries. Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or joining the effort for the first time, this is a hands-on way to make a difference in our local waterways.
Bring your own boat or reserve a canoe through Outdoor Chattanooga.
